Another Update

Journal Entry: Sat May 3, 2008, 8:18 PM
Past- Since the last update, I carved sand at Harrison Hot Springs, carved ice at the Work Less Party party, and came in second(again) today at the Qualicum Beach Fire and Ice festival. And worked like mad doing stone masonry for Strongback. Learning lots with them and having tons o fun.

Present- Uhh, typing on the computer.....

Future -
Now till May 21 I will be working like mad, and carving a bit too.
May 22-June 26, I will be in Charlottetown, PEI making "Sandland".
June 26-July1, Sand sculpting for Sherwood Park in Edmonton.
August sees me doing a few sand sculptures for the Vancouver PNE, Parksville, and Harrison Hot Springs.

I find your work inspiring. I would love to see you in process. It must be an extraordinary experience to sculpt at this scale with materials that melt away. I appreciate the sensuality of your forms. They look like they would be as soothing to the touch as they are to the eye.

Thank you for sharing your gifts, and for appreciating some of mine.

I love film grain but will shoot digital to get off instantly. Although delaying the gratification for film makes it even more exciting!

I don't think I've ever been asked before ;)

But a lot of it is that I'm taking a 3D design/intro to sculpture class this semester, so I was looking around and seeing what other people have done and I like your stuff. Especially the more abstract things. :)

Sure thing. I'm a Monty Python fan, so the picture was too irresistable.
