I created a large ice box (7ftx7ftx10ft tall) and built a pyramid of wood inside it. Then I carved flames into the ice and engraved a poem by Robert frost onto the side. Then, with a crowd of 2000 people, I lit it on fire. This photo is taken about 5 minutes after we lit the fire. This took Place on January 22, the eve of the Year of the Dragon, at Ice on Whyte in Edmonton Alberta, Canada
Amazing work - wow. Its monumentality resonates very well with the poem. Was there a video taken of the event??
I love it, and the Poem does suit it so well, excellent
Amazing. I wish I could have seen it in person!
Ditto everything above. Interesting media... perhaps the Robert Frost poem seemed 'a bit too much' in the desciption which poem was it?
always breaking new ground D. Gotta love it. ~ d
