Artist's Comments

This 16ft tall snow sculpture was created in Whitehorse Yukon by Team British Columbia: Peter Vogelaar, David Dureault and myself. We won peoples choice and 1st place during their International Snow Sculpting Competition.

The queen's tiara, necklace, earring are made of ice, as well as the fantasy city's minarets.

How wonderful! The details are great - I bet it took forever to sculpt though! Congratulations on winning!

Congrats!! It's really fabulous. I like how you used ice for the minarets. It gives a really neat effect.

My god, this is absolutely astounding! I was staring at this photo for probably ten minutes, just gazing at all the intricate little details and the way you sculpted the flowing fabric and stone. And the castle looks so luxurious! I love how you incorporated the ice pieces in there too.

Another wonderful piece of work!
